Kobonada is a stunning beach with easy access on the east of Kythera

Kobonada is one of the less spoilt beaches and according to some, the most beautiful one, on the east part of the island of Kythera. It is located between Firi Ammos of Kalamos and Kaladi.

To approach the beach, head to the villages Travasarianika or Goudianika and then follow the signs. Kobonada viewing the Cretan Sea has white pebbles of various sizes, that are its trademark, and deep crystal clear waters.

Like most beaches on the island, Kobonada is not organized but has the advantage of easy access as there’s asphalt road all the way to the beach. It is quite long and surrounded by rock formations. If you fall in love with the place and just cannot say goodbye, you can spend the night at the free Kobonada ‘hotel’, with the stars as canopy!
