Perissa and Perivolos beaches are essentially one very long beach that caters to the backpacker crowd and party scene but still offers a wide range of amenities, accommodation options such as villas to rent and restaurants. The beach becomes progressively quieter as you move south towards a third beach, Agios Georgios. Perivolos is reachable by regular bus service from Fira, the main town of Santorini and the trip takes about twenty minutes. Alternately, you can rent a 4-wheel bike and keep your own schedule. Perivolos beach is one of the largest in the whole Cyclades archipelago and the place to be if you want to listen live to some famous DJs from all over the world, it’s the beach to play beach volleyball and definitely the place to drink some amazing cocktails by the sea. In Perivolos you can also do all the wet-sports you can imagine (jet ski, sea-ski, sea-bananas etc). These are also the most cosmopolitan beaches of the island, where you might even run into celebrities! In the area there are great options for villas to rent, offering highend amenities.
