Enjoy a nice swim in Pachia Ammos, in the shade of tamarisk trees

In front of the Pachia Ammos village, located on the road to Paleohora and is 70 km from Chania.  The sea is usually wavy, but you can stay at the west part of the beach, which is well protected by a jetty. This part is sandy and clean, well organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. If you seek peace, you can stay at the remote eastern part of the beach, which however is unprotected from the waves. There are several tamarisk trees and the beach is pebbly.

At the east end of the beach flows a stream that during the winter carries water from the impressive Gorge of Ha. The local beach and the sights in the surrounding area have contributed to the mild development of Pachia Ammos village where you can find small hotels, rooms and taverns.
