The beach at Batsi, one of the most famous resorts in Andros, is an organized beach with all necessary tourist amenities, very popular among locals and tourists. The water is shallow, perfect for families with kids, the sand is golden and there is a variety of water sports available. Batsi beach is protected from the strong north winds, and there is plenty of shade thanks to the abundance of tamarisks lining the shore at the northern end of the beach.

The beach is very close to the harbor at the southern end of Batsi town, where there are numerous taverns offering authentic Greek cuisine and local delicacies. Batsi town is built amphitheatrically on top of two hills in a beautiful bay that overlooks the Aegean sea, with whitewashed tiled roof houses featuring colourful windows and doors.
